How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Positive-energy joint spectral input
Definition
Assume Countable Choice. Let be a nonzero complex Hilbert space with inner product linear in its first argument. Use on , the convention of the proper-orthochronous Poincaré supplier, and put For estimates only, write .
Let be a projection-valued measure on the Borel subsets of : each is an orthogonal projection, , , , and for every disjoint sequence , in norm for each . For a bounded Borel function , write for its bounded spectral integral, defined by uniform simple-function approximation. Let be a strongly continuous unitary representation of translations: , , every is a surjective linear isometry, and is norm-continuous for each . The positive-energy joint spectral input is the additional data and condition
Fix a translation-invariant unit vector , so for every , and a specified unital -subalgebra : it contains and is closed under complex linear combinations, operator composition, and Hilbert-space adjoints, with these operations inherited from . Explicitly, , , and ; the Hilbert adjoint is characterized by . Under the already assumed Countable Choice, these bounded adjoints exist and obey the adjoint identities of Hilbert-adjoint identities, so the inherited structure is a unital complex star algebra in the sense of Unital star algebra and positive normalized state. Require ; this is the meaning of cyclic vacuum here. If local bounded operators are used, their assignment for bounded open is separately specified. This input asserts no locality, isotony, covariance, or field-domain property for that assignment. The PVM and its joint support are input; separate generators or a matrix-coefficient Fourier-support condition do not replace this additional data.

Remarks
The required qft-mc02 reconstruction item proves a matrix-coefficient Fourier-support condition only under its additional moment identities. Its Statement explicitly does not assert joint self-adjoint translation generators or their joint PVM. This definition therefore records a stronger, separate input and does not infer it from that reconstruction result.
