How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Regular Hamiltonian shell preparation data
Declared finite-dimensional classical Hamiltonian models in one canonical phase chart, restricted to nonempty compact regular energy shells in the stated band; preparation uses the normalized coarea measure and does not require a globally complete flow, while flow invariance is a separate theorem.
Definition
Assume the Axiom of Choice (The Axiom of Choice). Fix an integer and an open phase-coordinate domain with physical canonical coordinates in metres and in . The canonical symplectic form on this chart is . Let and , and let be the open image of the chart in these dimensionless coordinates. The corresponding dimensionless canonical form is , so .
Let be a numerical energy function with continuous partial derivatives through order two, and let be . Where defined, its physical Hamiltonian vector field is determined by . For each elapsed time in its domain, the physical flow map is a function , where is the set of initial data whose trajectories exist through time , and it satisfies . Equivalently, in the dimensionless chart, the flow map is generated by satisfying , at dimensionless time ; here is the set of initial coordinates whose trajectories exist through . These definitions specify the flow maps when they exist but impose no global-existence or completeness hypothesis on the shell preparation.
A specified open interval is a regular compact-shell band when is compact in for every compact and is nonzero at every point of .
For , the energy shell is . The graph-chart definition of the weighted shell integral is Regular energy shell and weighted area measure: in a local graph chart , its coarea measure is , with graph-area factor and gradient in the dimensionless Euclidean coordinates. Set and admit the preparation only when and . Its normalized shell law is . The current draft theorem Coarea and invariant measure on compact regular energy shells proves the coarea identity, chart independence and positive finite shell mass under its stated , compact-regular-band hypotheses; its statement and proof are present, while its acceptance remains unresolved. Multiplying the unnormalized shell measure by a fixed positive phase-volume normalization does not change .
