How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Worked uniform Galilean chart bound on a bounded region
Example
Take (so ), , and the point in Galilean limiting chart maps and bounded chart regions, and let . For , write , so and , while . The exact point deviations and whole-region bounds are Their rounded values are:
Here . The computed deviations shrink by factors and , or about and to one decimal place, consistent with the rate of Uniform Galilean limit of the boost charts on bounded regions, and its failure on the whole chart domain,(c).
Finally, for tolerance , take . Then and . Choose exactly . With , one has , and , so every threshold inequality is satisfied. The sufficient threshold is Thus is sufficient uniformly on . At the specified point , and , both below . The whole-region bound values at are approximately and , also below . Computed values are rounded to ten places after the decimal point, except the explicitly stated one-place shrink factors; terminating rational data are exact and all inequalities compare exact values. No physical interpretation of the auxiliary family is asserted.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: , , , the point , the maps and and the region of Galilean limiting chart maps and bounded chart regions, and the bounds and threshold of Uniform Galilean limit of the boost charts on bounded regions, and its failure on the whole chart domain.
In the frame data, and , and for while (Galilean limiting chart maps and bounded chart regions).
With these data the lemma gives: the exact differences and ; the bounds and ; and the sufficient threshold for any admissible (Uniform Galilean limit of the boost charts on bounded regions, and its failure on the whole chart domain).
Rational powers: for , and (Rational powers of a positive base, Laws of rational exponents).
Square roots: is the nonnegative root of Square roots exist: a unique with ; the positives are , and for one has ; in particular because , and because . Also (Square roots exist: a unique with ; the positives are , Monotonicity of and of ).
Order arithmetic in : inequalities may be multiplied by positive numbers and added, and (Ordered field): and are nonnegative when , , , by positive-cone closure, with equality handled separately.
Verification
The exact deviations at the point. With , , , and , [L1] and [L3] give , and , so the exact deviations are and . Indeed, if then ; if , both numerator and denominator of are positive and since , so again. Thus for every , including , and the absolute value may be read as written.
The -threshold data. Take . By [L3] and [L4], and ; since by [L4], . With one has , and for , so satisfies the hypothesis of [L2],(c).
The whole-region bound values. Instance of [L2],(b) with , , : the bounds read and , and , hold at every by the lemma; the statement records the ten-place rounded values of the exact expressions at and .
The sufficient threshold. By [L2],(c) applied with , , and , because by [L4]; since , every meets both error bounds of [L2],(b) on the whole region .
The evaluations and ratios at the named scales. For one has , , ; for one has and the corresponding expressions; for one has , and the bound value . The two ratios of exact deviations are evaluated from these exact radicals before rounding; the statement records the ten-place rounded values of all these quantities, and each bound comparison at the named scales is the instance of [L2],(b) already recorded in step 2.1.
Conclusion of the worked instance. The exact differences, the uniform bounds at , the ten-place rounded evaluations, the two ratios of exact deviations and the threshold have been checked above from the exact radicals, and the constants , and the inequalities , , hold with exact values; the auxiliary family is mathematical and no physical claim is made.
