How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
RN conformal data on a punctured exterior
Statement
Let be a geometric mass length, let be a signed geometric electric-charge length, and define
where the square root is positive. On , use the Euclidean seed metric , with the unit round metric, and set
With , , , and , the exact transformed equations are
and the separate momentum equation is . They are satisfied by the displayed fields, so the corresponding SI-convention data satisfy the original constraints. The puncture is omitted from , so the assertion concerns smooth equations on this domain and introduces no delta-function source there.
For , . The centered coordinate sphere has area , where
On each , the outward unit normal is . Define its mean-curvature scalar by ; by convention here, is minimal exactly when . Its mean curvature vanishes exactly at , where . Both ends are asymptotically Euclidean in the following explicit sense. In the Euclidean seed Cartesian coordinates with , the end has , , and . For the inner end define inverted Cartesian coordinates , whose radius is ; the same metric and derivative falloffs hold as in these coordinates. On the branch , put . The comparator spatial metric is
with and hence ; the spatial metric agrees with this static Reissner–Nordström exterior metric under the displayed areal-radius coordinate. These statements make no global event-horizon or maximal-extension claim.

Given: , , the positive domain , the seed metric and fields in the Statement, and the stated conformal constraint identities.
Conformal electrovacuum seed data: and are geometric-normalized contravariant fields, , and .
Exact conformal electrovacuum constraint transformation: source-free seed divergences and the transformed Hamiltonian equation imply the corresponding SI constraints; the momentum equation is separately satisfied when and .
Dyonic Reissner-Nordström metric and field domains: with mass length , electric length , magnetic length zero, and areal coordinate , the RN metric has radial factor , angular factor , and where .
Proof
Put and . Since , the condition is equivalent to , giving exactly . Thus is smooth and positive there. In Euclidean spherical coordinates, , while .
On this domain , , and . Since , and give ; here and direct expansion gives . Thus . With , , the transformed scalar equation is .
The seed Gauss constraint holds by step 1.1, and step 1.2 verifies the Hamiltonian equation. The momentum right side vanishes because , and its left side vanishes because . The omitted point is not in the manifold, so the smooth divergence calculation on makes no distributional assertion at the puncture.
Suppose , so and . Then , , and . Hence has its unique minimum on at , with value . The area formula follows directly from the induced metric on , namely .
The outward unit normal to is . Its mean curvature, defined as the trace of the second fundamental form, is . Thus , and is nonzero for every other centered coordinate sphere.
Write and . On , , so . Direct algebra gives and . Therefore , which proves that equals the radial and angular spatial metric in [F3] on this branch.
As , ; differentiating this explicit rational expression for gives first- and second-coordinate-derivative falloffs and . For the inner end put . Then and . Hence the inner metric is exactly the same isotropic form in , and it has the same falloff and derivative estimates. This proves the two stated end descriptions without extending the static areal chart through .
