How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Conditional local KMS clock temperature
Orbitwise KMS-time rescaling for each actually constructed finite cell in the selected stationary model; no spatially varying global time rescaling, generic curved-spacetime KMS existence, equilibration law, or empirical temperature measurement.
Statement
Fix one cell of the finite preparation in Actually constructed Gibbs/KMS preparation, at its assigned event , with , , and . Set in joules. Let , let be its proper grand generator in joules, let be its Killing-time grand generator, and let . Use length coordinates , with the speed of light in metres per second and the reference-normalized dimensionless in these coordinates. Choose an open interval containing on which the integral curve through remains in . Define the unique smooth curve by where is physical Killing time in seconds; the equation states its parameterization by the reference-normalized Killing field. This curve is future-directed timelike. The stationary normalization used in KMS orbit clock rescaling gives , so throughout this interval. Its proper-time parametrization is which satisfies . Thus is proper time in seconds and on the geometric orbit. No completeness of is assumed: the geometric curve is defined on its flow interval, while the finite-matrix dynamics below are defined for all real parameters by their generators and use the same constant rescaling.
Define
where both and are measured in seconds, and is dimensionless. Write for the neutral observable algebra. Then is -KMS for and is -KMS for , where
On , the same proper-time automorphism is generated by the physical Hamiltonian , because its chemical-potential term commutes with every observable in that subalgebra. Thus the local temperature is for this constructed state and selected orbit. The conclusion is only orbitwise; it does not make a position-dependent lapse into one global time-rescaled dynamics.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The selected stationary bath and one actual finite-cell Gibbs/KMS preparation, with , , and in joule-seconds.
Selected stationary thermal equilibrium adopts one connected stationary bath with smooth future timelike Killing field , lapse , observer , positive proper-temperature field , and Killing inverse-temperature vector . It does not assert a KMS state.
Actually constructed Gibbs/KMS preparation adopts the finite density and its Killing-time grand-generator dynamics; the mathematical construction is conditional on through the cited finite-cell supplier. That postulate makes no generic curved-QFT state claim.
Physical-time KMS strip equilibrium condition: a -KMS state has, for every observable pair, a bounded function continuous on the closed strip of width , holomorphic inside, and with boundary values and .
KMS orbit clock rescaling: if is -KMS for , then for fixed dimensionless , is -KMS for . On one stationary orbit with , it gives and ; a spatially varying lapse is not one global rescaling.
The Axiom of Countable Choice (): means every countable family of nonempty sets has a choice function. It is carried from the finite-cell construction; no stronger choice principle is used.
Proof
By [F1], the full product state is -KMS for the grand-generator dynamics. The embedded cell algebra is invariant under that dynamics: all lifted cell generators commute, and conjugation by the other tensor factors cancels, leaving . Restricting the full-state strip functions to observables in this invariant subalgebra gives the KMS boundary values for , since the product density restricts to . Thus is -KMS for .
Since and is constant along the selected orbit, . Apply [F3] with to obtain the -KMS strip and width . The stationary normalization in [F3] gives , so . If , then conjugation by fixes , so the local grand and physical automorphisms agree there.
