How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Bounded-error evaluation from a dual adversary certificate
Definition
Inputs. A finite nonconstant Boolean function on input bits and a supplied finite dual-vector certificate in a finite-dimensional complex inner-product space , meaning that for every distinct , Its class costs satisfy for a supplied bound . The declared standard XOR input oracle is available. The input-independent controlled witness-span reflection specified below is a nonoracle operation in this query model; no efficient gate implementation for it is assumed.
Output. A Boolean estimate of for the promised input .
Instructions. Use the finite work space Here the address basis is for , and is a specified unit vector orthogonal to the query summand. The witness family is classical instance data used to specify a subspace, not an input-dependent state preparation. Define Let project onto the span of all with , and let project onto plus query states whose response is . Form the exact ordered product
Choose as the least power of two satisfying . Initialize the data register to and apply the coherent QPE gate list followed by its projective readout on . Implement controlled in chronological order by controlled , then controlled , retaining both plus-on-range signs. Repeat that complete controlled circuit times for the required power at each . Each controlled input-dependent reflection is the two-unconditional-query consistency-reflection circuit of Controlled input-consistency reflection from a bit query. For the measured phase label , return exactly when and return otherwise. No gate-complexity bound is asserted for the input-independent reflection about the full witness span or the remaining nonoracle gates.

91 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
