How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

G-graded finite semisimple 2-vector space

Definition

Fix an algebraically closed field k of characteristic zero and a finite group G (Group and abelian group). A finite semisimple category is understood in the sense of Semisimple objects and semisimple abelian categories, with simple objects as in Simple object. A finite semisimple G-graded k-linear category is a finite semisimple k-linear category A together with a direct-sum decomposition A=⨁g∈GAg. An object in Ag is homogeneous of degree g. A grading-preserving linear functor sends each Ag into the corresponding degree-g summand, and its 2-morphisms are natural transformations. Such categories, functors, and natural transformations form the underlying 2-category denoted 2VectG.

For finite semisimple categories A,B with simple-label sets S,T, their finite semisimple tensor product A⊠B has simple labels S×T and Hom⁡(s⊠t,s′⊠t′)=Hom⁡A(s,s′)⊗kHom⁡B(t,t′), extended to direct sums. For a concrete skeleton, choose finite sets Sg of simple labels and replace Ag by the category of finite-dimensional k-vector-space families indexed by Sg. A linear functor is represented by a finite matrix of finite-dimensional vector spaces within each grade. This skeleton fixes the meaning of “finite” and the homogeneous components; it does not assert any physical realization.

13 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
