How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Physical braid implementation interface
Definition
Let be a nonzero finite-dimensional complex inner-product space and let be a fixed mathematical braid representation. A physical implementation record for a braid consists of all of the following data and hypotheses:
- a finite-dimensional physical Hilbert space ;
- a path of Hermitian endomorphisms, , and a norm-continuous constant-rank orthogonal spectral projection of rank that is a coherently followed band in the sense of Finite adiabatic path model, including its local-contour continuation, and is separated from its complement by a uniform positive full gap. The initial low-energy sector is ;
- a unitary identification , an explicit preparation isometry with image exactly , its declared preparation cost, and a stated slow-time schedule ;
- a unitary final-band identification and a separate identification of the band's transported action along the chosen exchange path, using and , with up to a stated scalar phase.
The first three clauses form an instance of the finite adiabatic path model Finite adiabatic path model on . Under those hypotheses, Finite JRS adiabatic projector bound bounds the deviation from ideal adiabatic band following. That estimate does not establish that a material realizes the fusion category, that the exchange path has the prescribed holonomy, or that the initial state can be prepared at no cost. Locality, temperature, quasiparticle separation, stray excitations, and tunnelling require their own physical error model.

25 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
