How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Cyclotomic semistandard sums give the actual Schur endomorphism basis
Statement
For , the summands , the direct sum and the multipartition-summand algebra of Arbitrary-level cyclotomic Hecke, Murphy cell and multipartition Schur modules, evaluation identifies with -basis the rectangular sums over semistandard of shape and type and semistandard of shape and type . Consequently the maps are actual well-defined endomorphisms of and form a free dominance-cellular basis of with and with coefficients independent of . The formation of this basis and its constants specializes to every commutative unit-parameter base, including the LM deformation DVR. The proof uses the perfect symmetric canonical trace (The universal cyclotomic Hecke canonical trace is perfect and symmetric) and the codomain direct-summand pivots (Cyclotomic semistandard row-type sums give permutation-module bases); no field-only double-annihilator and no nonsaturated-lattice argument is used.

The canonical coefficient trace satisfies and makes a perfect associative -bilinear pairing, over the universal ring and after every commutative unit-parameter base change (The universal cyclotomic Hecke canonical trace is perfect and symmetric).
A cellular basis of an -algebra requires an involutory anti-automorphism with and the triangular multiplication with independent of (Cellular bases and cell modules).

parameter ring.
Annihilator lemma. Let be such that is a direct summand of the codomain , put and let . The functional on vanishes on exactly when for some functional on : one direction is immediate, and for the other descends to the split quotient and extends to by zero on a complementary summand. Hence, for with for all , the functional vanishes on , so for the element representing under the perfect pairing [F4], and for all , so . Since is a right ideal, the converse also holds: if then for , and if for all then for all because , so perfectness gives . Therefore .
Evaluation is a bijection onto the intersection. The cyclic module [F1] makes evaluation injective on , since . Its image is exactly with : the inverse sends such an to the well-defined map , which is a right -map, and well-definedness is precisely . By step 1.1 with — whose image is a codomain direct summand by [F3] — this image is , so .
The intersection basis. By [F3] the module has basis over semistandard of type and standard , whose Murphy coordinates are constant on each admissible left fibre and zero off them ([F2]); applying the involution to the basis of gives a basis of of the elements over semistandard of type and standard , whose Murphy coordinates are constant on each admissible right fibre and zero off them. Hence an element of the intersection has Murphy coordinates that are zero unless the left fibre is admissible and the right fibre is admissible, and constant on each simultaneous pair of fibres. The rectangular sums have exactly these coordinate properties, with disjoint coefficient- pivots at the pairs of pivot refinements, and conversely every such coordinate family is the corresponding -linear combination. Therefore the are an -basis of .
The endomorphism basis. For of common shape and types , formula is well-defined: the right side depends on only through modulo , and for the map is defined to be zero, while for well-definedness is exactly the coordinate property of step 3.1; multiplicativity in makes each an -map, and every endomorphism of is determined by its restrictions to the finitely many cyclic summands. Evaluation on each delivers by step 2.1 the whole intersection , so the form an -basis of , finite and free.
Cellular laws. Define an -linear involution on the established endomorphism basis by . We verify anti-multiplicativity by evaluation; no generator-fixing star map on the right-module direct sum is assumed. If then , and for a composable pair with the star of the evaluated product is , while for non-composable types both products vanish; evaluation injectivity (step 4.1) gives , hence . For the multiplication rule, evaluate at the cyclic generator in its source summand: it is when and zero otherwise. The Murphy cell law [F2] expands this same-shape part as with independent of and ; because the product is an actual -map and step 3.1 groups into its semistandard fibres, the coefficients are constant on each right fibre, so the coefficient of depends on and the multiplier only, and all remaining terms have strictly higher shape. Thus the datum with the dominance poset on shapes satisfies [F5]: it is a free dominance-cellular basis of .
Specialization. Every step above is an identity of coefficients in the universal Laurent ring with denominators inverted only when they are units: the trace, the annihilator computation, the two one-sided bases, the intersection basis, and the structure constants all live over the universal ring and involve no field, dimension count, rationalization, or generic flatness. Hence applying any commutative base change in which the parameters are units — including the LM deformation DVR and arbitrary fields — preserves the well-definedness, the basis, the transpose rule, and the cellular multiplication constants.
Remarks
The lemma closes the well-definedness obligation of the definition of and of the maps : the double-annihilator identity is derived from the perfect canonical trace together with the codomain direct-summand property of , and the intersection basis is derived from the one-sided semistandard bases, so no field-only double-annihilator or nonsaturated-lattice argument is used. The intersection basis groups the two admissible Murphy coordinate fibres independently. No choice principle is used: all bases and coset sums are finite.
