How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Mapping-space homotopy groups give the derived Hall stabilizer weight

Then
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The finite field, locally finite dg-enhancement, perfect modules , and a map with cofiber .
The target fiber is the homotopy type of arrows over , with components represented by maps into and their source and cofiber equivalences (Toën derived Hall algebra by homotopy-cofiber convolution).
Derived mapping spaces satisfy for , and perfect modules have finite total Ext (Locally finite dg enhancements for derived Hall theory, Perfect dg modules have finite total Ext).
Homotopy fibers can be replaced by fibration fibers and have the long exact sequence of homotopy groups, including the component tail (Homotopy fiber of a map, Mapping path factorization, Long exact sequence of homotopy groups of a fibration).
Proof
The loop space at of the restricted arrow core over the fixed target is the homotopy fiber over of postcomposition , based at . Here is the union of components represented by isomorphisms in ; using the full mapping space would also include noninvertible endomorphisms and would not compute loops in the core. Since this is a union of components, its positive homotopy groups at are , while [F2] gives . The long exact sequence in [F3] therefore gives, for each , . Its low-degree tail is ; the last map has kernel , so the preceding image in is exactly that stabilizer and the induced map onto it is surjective.
All Ext groups in these sequences are finite and vanish outside a finite range by [F2]. The group is a subgroup of the finite group . Thus all groups in the displayed exact sequence are finite and the sequence terminates. For a finite exact sequence of finite groups, the product of group orders with alternating exponents is : at each term, its order is the product of the kernel order and image order, and adjacent image factors cancel. Applying this cancellation to step 1.1 yields , which is the claimed homotopy weight.

23 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
