How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Proof
For every nonzero , Thus is symmetric positive definite. By [F2], choose an orthogonal matrix and positive eigenvalues with .
For each , for every nonzero . Thus is symmetric positive definite. By [F2], write with orthogonal; positive definiteness gives for each . By [F3], and . Since , multiplicativity gives , hence .
Since , [F3] gives . Applying [F3] to the diagonalization yields . Also, expanding the diagonal entries of gives because each column of has Euclidean norm one.
By [F4] and step 2.1, The definition of gives .
Since is diagonal, [F3] gives . Dividing step 3.1 by this positive number yields
The two sides in step 4.1 are positive by steps 2.1 and 4.1. Applying the increasing natural logarithm and then [F5] gives the claimed bound.

66 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
