How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Cyclotomic Hecke central sectors are isomorphic to type-A cyclotomic KLR algebras
Statement
Over any field in the charged finite- conventions, the explicit maps from Hecke intertwiners produce the local KLR generators and The cyclotomic KLR block satisfies the Hecke relations are mutually inverse, for every content , including zero sectors. Here is only the central CRT content sector; no primitivity is assumed. Thus if and only if , and summing over the finite height- contents gives On idempotents the maps are the literal identity, and the dot image is in the degenerate branch and in the nondegenerate branch. This result precedes the late dimension, basis and primitive-block theorems, and no algebraic-closure hypothesis is required.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The cyclotomic Hecke algebra with its central content sectors ([def-cyclotomic-hecke-central-content-sector-notation]), the specialized cyclotomic KLR algebra (The type-A cyclotomic specialization of the QG-KLR algebras), and the two maps constructed by the preceding lemmas (Hecke intertwiners produce the local KLR generators, The cyclotomic KLR block satisfies the Hecke relations).
carries to for and kills the idempotents of other contents; it restricts to a unital homomorphism (The cyclotomic KLR block satisfies the Hecke relations).
carries to , to and to the intertwiner quotient , and is the unique homomorphism with these values (Hecke intertwiners produce the local KLR generators).
The content sectors are central orthogonal idempotents summing to (Central content sectors of the cyclotomic Hecke algebra).
Proof
Given: The maps of [F1]–[F2] over the actual field .
The forward composite on dots and crossings. On each KLR word the map kills all idempotents outside content ; in particular, since the inverse polynomial generators of have exactly the eigenword projectors (the nilpotent dots shift distinct scalar eigenvalues), and annihilates every other central sector. The composite fixes by [F2], and on a crossing using the definitions of the local generating elements in Hecke intertwiners produce the local KLR generators; the degenerate case is the same computation with in place of . These are literal ordered expressions, not a commutation of with its coefficient. Hence fixes every presentation generator of .
The reverse composite on generators. By [F2] the composite fixes the idempotents and dots; on a word, in the nondegenerate case, and the same with in the degenerate case. Again the evaluation is a finite expression in the nilpotent variables. For the polynomial generators the computations are in DG and in NG; their inverses are fixed because homomorphisms preserve inverses. Conversely in DG and in NG. Along with the projector identities of [F1], these verify every presentation generator of both algebras, including the correct inverse NG substitution. Hence fixes every presentation generator of .
Mutual inverses and the zero-sector statement. Both composites fix all generators of their source algebras, so and ; in particular the maps are algebra isomorphisms, and on idempotents they are the literal identity. If then the already constructed would satisfy with , forcing ; conversely the forward identities force if . Zero rings and rank zero are therefore included without any nonzero-block premise.
Conclusion. Summing the isomorphisms over the finite set of height- contents and using that the are central orthogonal idempotents summing to by [F3] gives . Neither exact dimension nor primitive terminology has entered the proof; the full colour-case verifications, affine six-coefficient calculation and equal-colour divided-difference computation reside in the normalization supplier and the two preceding local relation lemmas. No choice principle and no algebraic closure are used.
Remarks
This is the sector-level isomorphism for every content, proved before any dimension or primitivity input; it is the algebraic engine of the blockwise bridge. The zero-sector case is handled by the identity rather than by a nonzero-block hypothesis.
