How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

The integral form of the cyclotomic Hecke-KLR block

Definition

Let K be a characteristic-zero field in branch (C0) of The nondegenerate root-of-unity level-one Hecke regime and fix, for each residue content α, the Khovanov--Lauda generators {e(i)}, {yr}, {ψr} of the block HαΛ(K) of def-affine-and-cyclotomic-type-a-hecke-algebras, i.e. the ρα-images of the KLR generators (thm-brundan-kleshchev-blockwise-hecke-klr-isomorphism, def-type-a-cyclotomic-specialization-of-the-qg-klr-algebras), in a fixed admissible local normalising series. Define HαΛ(Z):=⟨e(i), yr, ψr⟩Z⊆HαΛ(K) to be the Z-subring generated by them. It is the Z-span of the same finite normal forms (in the Khovanov--Lauda generators) that span HαΛ(K) over K, hence a free Z-module and a lattice; the generator degrees give it a grading, and the base-change maps K⊗ZHαΛ(Z)⟶HαΛ(K),F⊗ZHαΛ(Z)⟶HαΛ(F) sending 1⊗e(i)↦e(i), 1⊗yr↦yr, 1⊗ψr↦ψr are isomorphisms of graded algebras for every field F of sub-branch (CP) with a primitive e-th root of unity, the second being the reduction modulo p. The direct sums over α give the integral form of the tower. No choice is used.

Facts & Assumptions

Given: A characteristic-zero field K in branch (C0), a residue content α of rank d, the block HαΛ(K), and the images of the KLR generators e(i), yr, ψr in a fixed normalising series.

[F1]

The regime supplies the level-one Hecke and KLR towers, their blocks, the type-A specialization and the symmetric residue convention (The nondegenerate root-of-unity level-one Hecke regime).

[F2]

For every content α, including zero sectors, the generator-matching maps give HαΛ(k)≅RαΛ(k) over each field k of the regime, and one sector is zero exactly when the other is zero (Cyclotomic Hecke central sectors are isomorphic to type-A cyclotomic KLR algebras). For nonzero sectors this is the blockwise isomorphism of thm-brundan-kleshchev-blockwise-hecke-klr-isomorphism; the grading is transported by cor-cyclotomic-hecke-blocks-inherit-a-nontrivial-z-grading. The all-sector theorem supplies the presentation even when a sector vanishes, without assuming support is unchanged across fields.

[F3]

The type-A KLR presentation is defined over Z: its relations have integer structure constants, its generators are homogeneous of degrees deg⁡e(i)=0, deg⁡yr=2, deg⁡ψre(i)=−airir+1 (def-type-a-cyclotomic-specialization-of-the-qg-klr-algebras, The nondegenerate root-of-unity level-one Hecke regime).

[F4]

For a partition of rank d the total dimension of the finite Hecke algebra in any field of the regime is ldd!, with the cyclotomic PBW normal-form basis (the finite-basis and dimension statement of lem-cyclotomic-hecke-algebra-basis-and-dimension). [F4]

1.1F3F1

The integer lattice and its spanning forms. The KLR presentation is defined over Z and its relations involve only integer coefficients [F3]; ordered dot monomials, crossing words and word idempotents give normal forms that straighten with integer structure constants. In the finite characteristic-zero quotient the dots are nilpotent (the relations force bounded dot powers in every position), so only finitely many normal forms are nonzero in each block; their Z-span HαΛ(Z) is therefore a finitely generated torsion-free Z-module, closed under multiplication, and the homogeneous degrees of the generators induce its grading.

Base change from K. Put L=HαΛ(Z) and let CQ be the rational KLR presentation. Its generator map CQ↠Q⊗ZL is surjective by [F3]. Extending to K gives the composition CK↠K⊗ZL↠HαΛ(K), with the second arrow induced by the inclusion of L. Both arrows are surjective because their named generators generate the targets, and their composition is the generator-matching all-sector isomorphism of [F2]; therefore both arrows are isomorphisms. Faithful scalar extension from Q to K also proves the rational generator map is an isomorphism, without requiring a Hecke root of unity in Q. Hence the lattice has rank dim⁡KHαΛ(K) and the first base-change map is an isomorphism of graded algebras.

Reduction modulo p is surjective, including zero sectors. Let F be a field of sub-branch (CP) with a primitive e-th root of unity, and put CF=RαΛ(F) for the cyclotomic KLR presentation. Its generators map onto F⊗ZL because the generators of L satisfy the integer presentation relations [F3]. The all-sector theorem [F2] identifies HαΛ(F) with CF, so composing gives a generator-matching graded surjection HαΛ(F)↠F⊗ZL for every content. If HαΛ(F)=0, that theorem gives CF=0, and the surjection forces F⊗ZL=0; since L is free of rank dim⁡KHαΛ(K) by step 1.2, the characteristic-zero sector is also zero. In all cases dim⁡FHαΛ(F)≥dim⁡KHαΛ(K). Thus no nonzero-support premise or prior cross-characteristic support assertion is needed.

3.1F2F4step 2.1

Dimension comparison. Both sides are graded algebras spanned by the finitely many normal forms of rank d, and the total dimension over all contents of rank d equals ldd! in every field of the regime, by the PBW basis and dimension statement [F4]. Summing the individual inequalities of step 2.1 over the finitely many contents of rank d therefore forces equality for every content; each surjection is an isomorphism of graded algebras. Its inverse is the generator-matching map from the tensor lattice asserted in the Definition. The result includes zero sectors and rank zero, where both sides are the ground field with their singleton unit, and level zero at positive rank, where both sides are the zero quotient.

4.1F3F4given∎

No choice. The lattice is the span of explicit normal forms, and the base-change maps are checked by a finite dimension count over finitely many contents; no family of nonempty sets is selected. Hence no choice principle is used.
