How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

The type-A cyclotomic specialization of the QG-KLR algebras

Definition

Let F,q,e,I,Λ,λi be as in Affine and cyclotomic type-A Hecke algebras (The quantum characteristic of an invertible Hecke parameter, The cyclic affine type A Cartan datum and its residues). On the cyclic affine type-A Cartan datum take the normalized symmetrizers di=1 and define the type-A KLR datum QA by QiiA=0,QijA=1if aij=0, Qi,i+1A(u,v)=v−u,Qi+1,iA(u,v)=u−v(e≥3), Q01A(u,v)=Q10A(u,v)=−(u−v)2(e=2). Write Rα for the resulting generalized KLR algebra over F (The quiver Hecke (KLR) algebra of a symmetrizable Cartan datum, The KLR grading and the diagrammatic multiplication) and RαΛ for the standard cyclotomic quotient of The cyclotomic KLR quotient at a dominant integral weight (monic first-strand relations x1λi1e(ν)=0).

The specialization dictionary. Put yr:=xr and ψr:=−τr. With these normalizations, the relations (1.6)–(1.15) of the source hold in RαΛ, and conversely the quotient presented by those relations is the same algebra; in other words RαΛ is the sign-modified cyclotomic Khovanov–Lauda algebra of the source for the cyclic quiver of quantum characteristic e. The verification of the dictionary is elementary and is recorded here so that no hidden convention is imported:

  1. (Q1)–(Q4). Non-adjacent pairs have aij=0 and QijA=1, homogeneous of degree 0. For an adjacent pair (i,i+1) with e≥3 one has bij=aij=−1, and v−u is homogeneous of degree 2=−2bij with nonzero extremal coefficients of u−aij=u and v−aji=v; the opposite orientation is the transpose, so (Q2) is built into the two formulae. For e=2 the pair {0,1} has a01=a10=−2 and b01=−2, and −(u−v)2 is symmetric, homogeneous of degree 4=−2b01, with top coefficient −1≠0.
  2. Dot sliding. Relation (1.8) comes from τre(i)=e(sri)τr; relations (1.12)–(1.13) reduce to the dot-sliding constants τaxa−xa+1τa=e(ν) and τaxa+1−xaτa=−e(ν) on equal colours, whose sign changes to the source's constants +1 under ψ=−τ.
  3. Quadratic and braid relations. Relation (1.14): equal colours give τ2=Qii=0; non-adjacent colours give τ2=1=e(i); a forward arrow gives τ2=v−u, evaluated at (yr,yr+1) as yr+1−yr; a backward arrow gives yr−yr+1; the e=2 double edge gives (yr+1−yr)(yr−yr+1). Relation (1.15): the divided-difference numerator [QA(xa,xa+1)−QA(xa+2,xa+1)]/(xa+2−xa) equals ±1 in the two single-edge cases with ir+2=ir, equals yr+yr+2−2yr+1 in the e=2 double-edge case, and vanishes otherwise; the global sign ψ=−τ matches the source's three cases. The product order is explicit: the source difference is ψrψr+1ψr−ψr+1ψrψr+1, which under ψ=−τ equals the native reversed-word difference τr+1τrτr+1−τrτr+1τr; for Q=−(u−v)2 the displayed quotient is u+w−2v. Thus no braid-order sign is suppressed, also in characteristic two.

Degrees of products are read on the successive permuted colour pairs as in The KLR grading and the diagrammatic multiplication. This definition introduces no new basis, trace or primitive-block assertion, and uses no choice principle.

An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
