How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Nondegenerate integrated local energy estimate near the Schwarzschild photon sphere
A precise mathematical form of a first-derivative, unweighted local-energy bound on a fixed Schwarzschild exterior; it is a definition of an estimate, not a claim that the estimate holds.
Definition
Assume . Let be the Schwarzschild exterior datum with , , exterior coordinate , and stationary field . Let and put for . Then is contained in . On the static slice the future unit normal is . For a smooth real test wave with finite initial stationary energy, define
A nondegenerate integrated local energy estimate with no trapping loss on means that there is a finite constant , independent of , such that every smooth solution of with finite satisfies
Here “nondegenerate” means that the estimate integrates the full unweighted first-derivative density, with no weight vanishing at ; “no trapping loss” means that the right side contains only the initial first-derivative stationary energy, with no additional derivatives or degenerating weights. This definition asserts no existence or nonexistence of such a constant.
