How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Verification
Given: As in [A1] and [F1]–[F4], with the box simplex maps, cut chains, and side chain defined in the Example.
The scalar-current formula from the chosen decomposition is . Substitution of the displayed variations and Hodge map gives By [F6], differentiating the first term gives ; differentiating the second gives . The graded product rule [F5] justifies the coefficient differentiations. Thus , agreeing with [F2].
Set for . In these coordinates, the affine simplex has ordered vertices . Its determinant is , so the coefficient gives the box orientation. Its image is ; these 24 sectors cover the box with disjoint interiors. Two sectors adjacent by swapping entries share a face obtained by deleting their different intermediate vertices; the ordered face maps agree while their permutation coefficients are opposite, so every internal boundary term cancels. On , time is first in the permutation, and the remaining boundary simplices are exactly with positive coefficient. On , time is last; the permutation sign is reversed relative to the spatial order, so the boundary chain is . The other exterior facets are the six side faces and form . Outward-normal-first contraction of the volume form with their coordinate normals gives the six orientations listed in the Example. Hence .
On a cut with orientation , Therefore .
At , the outward-normal-first boundary orientation is , while ; the oriented flux is . At the pullback is zero because the coefficient vanishes. The and faces have zero pullback because each term in contains respectively or . Hence the total oriented side flux is , verifying [F2].
For each cut, [F3] identifies any potential-induced change with an integral over its boundary; the explicit calculation is for the fixed potential in the Statement and makes no claim that a boundary counterterm vanishes on these cuts.
The nonzero difference in step 2.1 shows that this bulk-closed current does not define a cut-independent integrated form without a boundary-flux condition. The example supplies no quotient or descended symplectic form beyond the hypotheses in [F4].
