How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Two-body symmetry factors and massless daughter rate units
Facts & Assumptions
Given: Assume Countable Choice The Axiom of Countable Choice (). Use the formal scalar coefficient conventions of Scalar symmetry factors and decay coefficient units and Complete two-body phase space and coefficient flux map. Set the equal scalar rest energy to and take . For scattering, write and with and , and require and , evaluating the scattering coefficients in the center-of-momentum frame of Complete two-body phase space and coefficient flux map. For decay, take both daughters on that same positive shell with total parent , . Let the constant quartic amplitude and cubic parent amplitude have the units specified by those suppliers.
Countable Choice The Axiom of Countable Choice () is assumed; no stronger choice axiom is used.
Scalar symmetry factors and decay coefficient units: identical and distinguishable scalar scattering coefficients and the equal-daughter decay-rate coefficient.
Complete two-body phase space and coefficient flux map: the phase-space integral and the units and definitions of the formal coefficient maps.
Example
Assume Countable Choice, The Axiom of Countable Choice (), as required by the phase-space and coefficient-map suppliers used below.
The massless special case makes the identical-final-state factor and the rate-coefficient units explicit without adding an exponential lifetime assumption.
Verification
Under [A1], the scalar and phase-space suppliers apply. Setting in [F1] gives the identical-final total scattering coefficient ; the distinguishable coefficient is twice this value. The two differential coefficients have the corresponding and factors.
Setting the daughter rest energy to zero in [F1] gives . Since and are in joules and is in joule-seconds, the units reduce to . This coefficient does not determine a survival-time law.
