How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

Independent redshifted finite cells

Physical scope

An exact two-cell finite-dimensional Gibbs/KMS construction at two points of a Rindler stationary domain, conditional on the adopted bath and the specified neutral whole-shell stationarity input; no measured realization or interacting/infinite-volume state.

Example

Let L>0 be a length in metres and TK>0 a reference temperature in kelvins. On the connected open Rindler domain O=Rx0×(0,∞)x×Ry×Rz, use length coordinates x0=ct and the metric

ds2=−(xL)2(dx0)2+dx2+dy2+dz2.

Choose the future direction of increasing x0 and the Killing field ξ=∂x0. The selected lapse is N(x)=x/L. Define βK:=(kBTK)−1>0 in joules−1 and adopt the stationary-bath temperature field T(x)=TKL/x, so the inverse-temperature vector is β=βKξ=ξ/(kBTK). For the global-stationarity input of Constructed independent cell Gibbs states, use an auxiliary neutral species with rest mass m>0, charge q=0, chemical potential μ=0, global potential A=0, and compensator Λξ=0. This auxiliary kinetic sector is a supplier hypothesis for the finite-cell construction; it is not identified with the two quantum cells.

Set x1:=L, x2:=2L and place the cells at pi:=(x0=0,x=xi,y=0,z=0)∈O, as in the placement map of Actually constructed Gibbs/KMS preparation. For tK,τ∈R, define γi(tK):=(ctK,xi,0,0),Γi(τ):=(cτ/Ni,xi,0,0). Here tK is the Killing-flow parameter in seconds and τ is proper time in seconds. Each γi is a smooth future-directed timelike integral curve of cξ through pi; since Ni=xi/L is constant on it, Γi(τ)=γi(τ/Ni) and g(dΓi/dτ,dΓi/dτ)=−c2. Thus τ=NitK is the proper-time relation on the two worldlines. For each i∈{1,2} take Hi=C2 with an orthonormal basis {∣0i⟩,∣1i⟩}, let Qi=0, and set

Hi=Δi∣1i⟩⟨1i∣,Δi>0 joules.

Set q=0 for the cells and use μi=0. Then N1=1, N2=2, T1=TK, and T2=TK/2. With βi=NiβK=(kBTi)−1, the exact local partition functions and states are

Zi=1+e−βiΔi,ρi=∣0i⟩⟨0i∣+e−βiΔi∣1i⟩⟨1i∣Zi.

The total state and Killing-time generator are

ρ=ρ1⊗ρ2=e−βK(H1+2H2)Z1Z2,GK=H1+2H2.

This is a positive normalized finite-dimensional state. It is βK-KMS for the Killing-time dynamics and its ith cell state is βi-KMS for the local proper-time dynamics of Conditional local KMS clock temperature. The equality NiTi=TK is exact within this constructed model; no observation, material-realization claim, infinite-volume limit, or interaction between cells is asserted.

Facts & Assumptions

Given: The displayed Rindler metric and stationary bath, L,TK,Δ1,Δ2>0, the two noninteracting two-level cells, and the auxiliary neutral kinetic-sector inputs.

[F1]

Thermodynamics-GR fields, currents, reference normalization and units fixes the signature (−,+,+,+), length coordinates x0=ct, and dimensionless lapse for a length-normalized Killing field.

[F2]

Global electrochemical redshift from charged Liouville stationarity: for smooth T>0, μ, a future timelike Killing field, and the charged exponential ansatz, whole-future-shell stationarity is equivalent to β Killing and dζ=−cq ιβF; with a global compensator it yields the required constants. Its proof carries ACω through the smooth-geometry suppliers.

[F3]

Constructed independent cell Gibbs states constructs the finite product density and proves its KMS property when the cells are finite-dimensional, noninteracting, [Hi,Qi]=0, and the common stationary/gauge/whole-shell hypotheses hold.

[F4]

Conditional local KMS clock temperature proves the orbitwise rescaling from the constructed βK-KMS cell state to a NiβK-KMS proper-time state, with width ℏNiβK seconds.

[A1]

Selected stationary thermal equilibrium is adopted for this selected comoving bath only; the geometry does not imply that every material admits the bath.

[A2]

Actually constructed Gibbs/KMS preparation adopts the constructed finite density as this model's state assignment; it does not claim thermalization or a generic curved-spacetime state.

[A3]

The cells are uncoupled and have Qi=0. The auxiliary kinetic species is neutral, m>0, A=0, Λξ=0, and μ=0; it supplies the theorem's stationarity condition and is not a cell degree of freedom.

[A4]

The auxiliary future massive shell, charged transport, and exponential ansatz use the exact formulation in Charged particle and Liouville data on a stationary Lorentzian domain.

[F5]

The Axiom of Countable Choice (ACω) is the inherited ACω assumption of [F2] and [F3].

Verification

technique · Verify the selected Rindler carrier and neutral stationarity input, then apply the exact finite-cell factorization and orbitwise KMS suppliers
1.1givenA1F1algebra

The metric is smooth and has signature (−,+,+,+) on x>0. The coordinate transformation X=xcosh⁡(x0/L), X0=xsinh⁡(x0/L) gives −(dX0)2+dX2=−(x/L)2(dx0)2+dx2, so this is the Rindler wedge. The metric coefficients are independent of x0, hence ξ is Killing, and g(ξ,ξ)=−(x/L)2<0 gives N=x/L. Moreover ∂x0X0=(x/L)cosh⁡(x0/L)>0, so ξ is future directed.

With T=TKL/x, u=ξ/N gives β=u/(kBT)=ξ/(kBTK), a Killing field. By [A3]–[A4], the auxiliary inputs have F=dA=0, ζ=μ/(kBT)=0, and q=0, so dζ=−cq ιβF=0 in the exact transport formulation. The forward direction of [F2] therefore gives whole-future-shell stationarity and the global compensator condition required by [F3].

At x1=L and x2=2L, step 1.1 gives N1=1 and N2=2. The adopted field has Ti=TK/Ni, and the two cells satisfy [Hi,Qi]=0, Qi=0, and μi=q=0. Thus the finite-cell hypotheses of [F3] hold with GK=N1H1+N2H2=H1+2H2 and βi=NiβK. Applying [F3] gives the positive finite partition sums and the product state in the Example. The construction is conditional on [F5], inherited through [F2].

The eigenvalues of Hi in the displayed basis are 0 and Δi, so their traces are Zi=1+e−βiΔi and the normalized diagonal densities are exactly the displayed ρi. Since βi=NiβK, their tensor product equals e−βK(H1+2H2)/(Z1Z2).

Apply [F4] separately to the two cells. Their Killing-time KMS parameter is βK; the constant lapse rescalings give local parameters N1βK and N2βK, equal to (kBT1)−1 and (kBT2)−1. This establishes the stated model prediction only and reports no experiment.
