How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

For integers and , the published sphere-system bonding map is an isomorphism when and is surjective when . Its proof identifies this map with reduced suspension by collapsing the contractible basepoint track in the two-cone suspension; at , , this is precisely the reduced map . Proof
The unit-quaternion parametrization is a continuous bijection from compact to Hausdorff ; direct multiplication shows it is unitary with determinant one, and every matrix in has this form. It is therefore a homeomorphism. By [F3], and .
By [F4], the two-cone Freudenthal suspension map on is surjective at the boundary index. The comparison in [F5], with and , identifies this map with reduced suspension, so generates the quotient . The order relation and the nonzero composite are supplied by [F6]. The latter implies , since a composite with a null factor is null. Thus the cyclic quotient generated by has exactly two elements, proving ; the same nonzero composite lies in , so that group is nonzero.
Induct on . The base sphere has dimension at least five, so [F3] makes its homotopy groups in degrees zero. Exactness [F2] at degrees one and two therefore gives and ; at degree three it gives . The component exact sequence and the connected fiber and base show is path connected: the map on components is onto, and its kernel is the image of the one-point component set of the fiber. Starting from [step 1.1], induction gives all three displayed low groups and connectedness for every .
