How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Free observable domains and limits of point notation
The selected flat four-dimensional real scalar bosonic and Dirac CAR Fock models, with their chosen vacua and bounded smeared observable algebras. Operator-domain and point-smearing conclusions are conditional on the named mathematical carriers. No interacting theory, pointwise field operator, coincident product, thermal trace, apparatus, or empirical outcome is asserted.
Statement
Assume Countable Choice, , and the selected free-field model of Specified bosonic scalar and CAR Dirac model adoption. Use the four-dimensional affine Minkowski chart, signature , length coordinate , and inverse-length parameter of Quantum field quantities and compatible SI normalizations. For an open region , use the scalar and Dirac test functions and bounded local observable algebras defined in Specified free state and observable interpretation: scalar tests are real members of , Dirac tests are members of , and the Dirac observable algebra is generated by even products of bounded smeared CAR fields and their adjoints.
For a real Schwartz scalar test , the closure of is self-adjoint on its exact Segal-field multiplier domain. The scalar number, Hamiltonian and momentum operators and the Dirac Hamiltonian and momentum operators have the exact maximal sector-sum domains stated in Domain-qualified free observables and point-field obstruction. In particular, If is one of these self-adjoint operators and is normalized with , then its model mean and variance are finite; this needs , not . The product is defined only when and .
If are open regions and for every and , then the scalar Weyl algebras of the two regions commute, and the even local Dirac algebras of the two regions commute. These are algebraic properties of the specified free representations.
The chosen construction supplies only test-smeared fields and does not define , , or coincident diagonal products. Fix a point and a nonnegative Schwartz function with . For each width measured in metres, put . The rescaled coordinate is dimensionless, so has unit . These tests converge on Schwartz tests to the point-evaluation functional , but as . For physical coordinate time in seconds, define the bounded equal-time CAR field using Smeared free Dirac CAR fields and graded locality, whose subscript is a length-coordinate increment in metres. Fix a spinor with and a nonnegative Schwartz function with , and put with the same width . The spatial rescaled coordinate is dimensionless and has unit . These tests approximate a spatial point evaluation for each . Write for the Dirac Fock space of Smeared free Dirac CAR fields and graded locality, and define for each bounded linear operator . For each fixed coordinate time in seconds, . Neither family has a finite limit in its respective Fock or operator-norm topology. This restriction does not rule out other distributional or renormalized constructions. The Born interpretation of Physical interpretation of a supplied constructed quantum model applies only after a density state and normalized finite bounded instrument have actually been supplied; this item reports no apparatus or outcome.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: Countable Choice, the fixed Minkowski and unit conventions, the adopted scalar and Dirac representations, the measurement interpretation only for constructed instruments, and the current mathematical supplier statements.
Countable Choice, written , means every sequence of nonempty sets has a choice function. The Axiom of Countable Choice ()
Quantum field quantities and compatible SI normalizations fixes the metric, length coordinates, inverse-length wave numbers and mass parameter, and the phase .
Specified bosonic scalar and CAR Dirac model adoption adopts a noninteracting real scalar bosonic symmetric-Fock model and a Dirac particle/antiparticle CAR-Fock model, with selected zero-particle vacua. It defines the scalar field by and fixes the future-shell measure . These species and statistics assignments are physical model assumptions, not conclusions about nature.
Physical interpretation of a supplied constructed quantum model reads as a model probability only for a supplied density state and normalized finite bounded Kraus instrument. It supplies no apparatus realization or observed outcome.
Specified free state and observable interpretation defines the scalar and Dirac test spaces, bounded scalar Weyl algebras, and even bounded Dirac local observable algebras for each open region.
Specified free state and observable interpretation supplies test-smeared fields only; it defines no pointwise field or coincident-product restriction. Its proposed charged-number domain remains conditional and is not used here.
Domain-qualified free observables and point-field obstruction assumes and the current mathematical free-field hypotheses. It gives the self-adjoint closure domain of each real scalar smearing, the exact maximal scalar domains, the exact Dirac domains, finite means and variances on , and the composition domain for products. Its current Step 1 file is labelled ready, but the current Step 1 check reports Item or dependency changed; record current readiness for its stored hash. Treat that receipt as stale. The complete carrier proof is conditional on its draft mathematical suppliers and is not currently scaffold-ready.
Isotony and spacelike commutativity of scalar local Weyl algebras assumes and the stated scalar shell, field, Segal and causal-commutator conventions. It proves isotony and commutativity of the bounded scalar Weyl algebras for open spacelike-separated regions. Its current Step 1 decision is escalated through open QFT-MF01 inputs.
Smeared free Dirac CAR fields and graded locality defines the equal-time field for spatial Schwartz spinors and gives its CAR.
Smeared free Dirac CAR fields and graded locality proves commutativity of even polynomials in the bounded Dirac smearings for spacelike-separated supports. Its current Step 1 decision is escalated through QFT-MF01/MF02 inputs.
Dominated convergence applies to the normalized nonnegative Schwartz profiles used in the scalar and spatial test-function limits.
Proof
Given: [A1], [F1]–[F6], and [F8]–[F11].
The adopted physical systems are exactly the two selected Fock representations in [F2], and [F1] fixes the spacetime and unit convention. The test spaces and meanings of and are those defined in [F4]; thus all fields used here are smeared and all Dirac local observables are even products.
Apply [F6] to the listed real scalar smearings and sector-sum generators. It supplies their exact maximal domains and, for every normalized , finite and finite variance. The same statement gives the product-domain condition, so no claim about or an everywhere-defined product follows.
The region hypotheses in the Statement are exactly the spacelike-support hypotheses of [F8] and [F10]. The first gives commutativity of the scalar Weyl algebras; the second gives commutativity of the bounded even Dirac local algebras. If either region is empty, its test space is and its unital generated algebra is , which commutes with the other algebra as well.
Let be any sequence of positive widths tending to zero. For every Schwartz , changing variables gives The integrand tends pointwise to and is bounded by the integrable function , so [F11] gives convergence to . For every spatial Schwartz spinor , the analogous change of variables gives Its integrand is bounded by and converges pointwise to ; [F11] and normalization of give limit . Since the width sequence was arbitrary, both families converge to the stated point masses on Schwartz tests.
Let again be any positive sequence tending to zero. Define . Positivity and normalization give , and [F11] gives as . The shell formula in [F2] yields . Fix and, for each finite , let . This annulus has finite measure, and dominated convergence [F11] gives . In radial coordinates ; for its density is at least , so as . Since the full shell norm dominates each annular integral and these limiting lower bounds are arbitrarily large, . The scalar field formula and vacuum in [F2] give . Arbitrariness of proves the claimed scalar norm divergence.
Changing variables gives , since . At fixed physical time , let , the bounded equal-time field of [F9] at length-coordinate increment . Its CAR give . By the operator norm definition and adjoint identity, ; the operator-norm triangle inequality and submultiplicativity then imply , hence . Thus the Dirac family has no finite operator-norm limit.
The selected definition [F5] supplies no other point field or diagonal product. The norm obstructions in steps 1.5 and 1.6 are specific to the displayed representations and topologies.
When the state and finite instrument required by [F3] are supplied, the Born postulate assigns the stated model probabilities. No such state, instrument, apparatus, or observation is introduced by this theorem, so it establishes no empirical outcome.
Remarks
The proof of Domain-qualified free observables and point-field obstruction constructs normalized smooth bump approximate identities and proves scalar vacuum-vector and equal-time Dirac operator-norm divergence for those explicit families. The nonnegative Schwartz profiles in this Statement are established directly in steps 1.5 and 1.6.
