How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Quiver full-flag incidence varieties and signed geometric KLR generators
Definition
Assume the Axiom of Choice (The Axiom of Choice) as inherited from the equivariant constructible, flag-variety and line-bundle suppliers below. Fix a finite loopless quiver with vertex set , with arrows for (parallel arrows and pairs of opposite arrows are allowed, and there are no loops), a dimension vector , and a field of characteristic zero. Put with , and .
Incidence varieties. For a word with content (so ) let be the variety of increasing full -graded complete flags whose successive quotient is concentrated in color , and set Because is loopless the stability condition is equivalent to for all , so on a split flag exactly the matrix entries with are allowed; accordingly and lies in the equivariant constructible derived category of Equivariant constructible derived category of complex varieties. Define with first coordinate the categorical source, and write for the convolution algebra, so that ; for homogeneous and the algebra product is the opposite-composition product , and degree is the convolution component of BM degree (Equivariant Borel–Moore homology and oriented correspondence convolution).
Geometric generators. In the equivariant BM convolution algebra, with the standard positive complex orientation, define the idempotents ; the dots for (First Chern class of tensor, dual, and conjugate lines); and, for the simple transposition , the standard fundamental class of the closure of the relative-position- stratum in , together with and if , while if . This is a generator normalization, not a change of the BM orientation: for distinct colors and , while for equal colors .
The intrinsic signed presentation. Define as the free unital -algebra on word idempotents , dots and crossings () modulo the relations: with ; the dots commute and ; ; , where , for , and ; far crossings commute; the distinct-color dot slides for every when (in particular and ); the equal-color mixed relations and when ; other dots commute with ; and, for , the braid relation unless , in which case it equals . Grade by , , ; every defining relation is homogeneous for this grading, including the polynomial braid quotient: in the outer-equal-color case the two distinct-color outer crossings contribute and the middle equal-color crossing contributes , matching the degree of the correction.
Well-formedness. The smooth-flag incidence lemma
Stable-flag incidence spaces admit the oriented proper correspondence calculus
gives that is a smooth complex algebraic vector bundle, that is
projective and hence proper, and that the displayed formula computes ;
is smooth projective
(The variety of complete flags of a finite-dimensional vector space is smooth projective). The polynomial model
, with shifted avatar
in which the unit has degree , and the fact that the displayed geometric classes
realize the stated graded relations are discharged by
Relative-position incidence strata give a faithful geometric PBW basis ↗ and
Quiver-flag convolution generators satisfy the signed KLR relations ↗; these two results
are recorded in justified_by rather than in deps because both depend on this definition.
The listed relations define a quotient of a free algebra, so is well posed as
a graded algebra, and the geometric generator normalization introduces no further choice: the
Axiom of Choice is consumed exactly through the AC-declared suppliers named above, while the
quiver, word and sign data are finite. This specialized presentation is internal and does not
replace the generic KLR definition.
