How statement and proof provenance work

The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.

  • Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
  • AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
  • AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.

These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.

The rational Cherednik algebra H_{t,c}(W,h)

Definition

Use the data of Reflection data and parameters for a rational Cherednik algebra. The tensor algebra T(V)=⨁n≥0V⊗n is the unital associative algebra generated by V with no relations. The smash product T(V)⋊CW is the vector space T(V)⊗CW with multiplication determined by (aw)(bv)=a w(b) (wv), for a,b∈T(V) and w,v∈W.

For t∈C, define Ht,c(W,h) to be the quotient of this smash product by the two-sided ideal generated by [x,x′]=0,[y,y′]=0,[y,x]=t x(y)1−∑s∈Scsαs(y)αs∨(x)s, for all x,x′∈h∗ and y,y′∈h. Here [a,b]=ab−ba. The product αs(y)αs∨(x) is the normalization from the data item; the parameter cs is constant on conjugacy classes. This quotient is an associative unital complex algebra by construction. The case t=1 is denoted H1,c and is used for category O.

This definition makes no PBW or noncollapse assertion. Those are proved in The PBW theorem for rational Cherednik algebras.

Remarks

For W={1} and dim⁡h=1, the presentation is [y,x]=t. For the order-two reflection on a one-dimensional h, the normalization in the preceding definition gives [y,x]=t−2cs.
