How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Reflection data and parameters for a rational Cherednik algebra
Definition
Let be a finite-dimensional complex vector space and let be a finite subgroup generated by complex reflections, meaning elements for which . Let be the set of all such elements in . The dual space is , with the contragredient -action .
For each , choose a nonzero spanning the one-dimensional image of on . Since that image has dimension one, there is a unique such that Replacing by replaces by , so the product is independent of this choice.
Put . Define an alternating form on by for and . Its radical is , and its restriction to is nondegenerate; that image has dimension two. The form is the nondegenerate -invariant alternating form on .
A reflection parameter is a function constant on -conjugacy classes. The pair and such a function are the reflection data and parameters used below.
Remarks
Only the products enter the algebra presentation, so no normalization of an individual eigenvector is part of the parameter data.
