How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Affine type-A presentations and charged cyclotomic quotients
Definition
Let be a commutative ring and let be a unit. Fix an integer .
The nondegenerate affine presentation. The algebra is the -algebra presented by commuting units and generators (The generic type-A Hecke algebra, The quantum characteristic of an invertible Hecke parameter) subject to the last two relations being the Bernstein relation and the distant mixed commutation, and with invertible as a consequence of its quadratic relation. For the algebra is .
The degenerate affine presentation. The algebra is the -algebra presented by commuting generators and symmetric-group generators subject to the Coxeter relations , , for together with the mixed relations
Auxiliary cyclotomic quotients. For a monic polynomial in of degree impose the single relation (respectively ) on the FIRST polynomial generator and call the resulting quotient the monic cyclotomic quotient; when , so that , the quotient at positive rank is the zero algebra, while rank zero remains . In the nondegenerate case the constant term is required to be a unit. The first-strand convention imposed here (cyclotomic relation on , and later induction appending on the right) is the one used on this page.
The charged cyclic specialization. Let be a field, let have finite quantum characteristic (The quantum characteristic of an invertible Hecke parameter), and let be the cyclic label set of residues, with a dominant cyclic type-A weight , , and (The cyclic affine type A Cartan datum and its residues). If use the nondegenerate presentation and put ; if (which forces ) use the degenerate presentation and put . Impose on the first generator ( in the nondegenerate branch and in the degenerate branch) and write for the resulting charged cyclotomic quotient of rank . This charged finite- branch is the scope of the present page; the arbitrary-base affine and monic definitions above supply its universal PBW and trace proof inputs. The definition itself asserts no basis, no spectrum, no primitive block decomposition and no Brundan–Kleshchev isomorphism. The grading variable of the KLR side is independent of .
Well-definedness notes. The nondegenerate parameters are distinct because has multiplicative order exactly ; the degenerate parameters are distinct because makes for . In the nondegenerate branch no embedding of the label set into is claimed or used: is only a label for the value . All these definitions are given by generators, relations and a two-sided quotient ideal and use no choice principle.

14 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
