How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Regular decomposition of zero-tangential H(curl) fields
Statement
Assume the Axiom of Choice. Let be a nonempty bounded contractible Lipschitz polyhedron with connected boundary. For every there are and such that Here is the closure definition of Zero tangential trace H(curl) space, and fixes the additive constant. The constant may depend on the domain but not on a mesh.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: AC and exactly the domain and zero-tangential field of the Statement. The stronger full Dirichlet supplier below applies to this domain without changing its stated hypotheses.
Proof
Apply [F1] and set . This supplies the required vector and scalar spaces and the identity, with the original domain, topology, and connected-boundary clauses retained. The proof of [F1] uses only a scalar H2 extension and an explicitly proved Fourier split; it imports no H(curl) extension theorem and no smooth-to-weak cohomology identification.
By Holder, , whence . Combine this with [F1] and absorb the numerical factor into to obtain the asserted estimate. The construction in [F1] fixes ; the present statement only requires , so its complete original scalar freedom is retained.

Dependency tree · two levels
10 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
