How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Fibonacci B6 approximates one logical two-qubit gate in both charge blocks
Statement
Assume . Let and . There is one normalized six-strand Fibonacci braid word such that its actions and on the total-charge- and total-charge- blocks are simultaneously within of For the triple-triple computational subspace in either block, the logical block error and leakage amplitude are each at most . The corresponding physical categorical braid differs from the normalized word by the common scalar phase specified by The braid phase is a common scalar character.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The four-dimensional code in each six-anyon block, the same ordered path basis in both blocks, , , and .
The normalized simultaneous braid closure contains under . Joint SU(5)×SU(8) closure from B6 path blocks
The two code blocks have dimensions , and their leakage complements have dimensions and . Six-anyon triple-encoded subspace and leakage complement
If a unitary is within of a code-preserving block target, its logical block error and leakage are at most . Block-target approximation bounds logical error and leakage
The original categorical word has one common scalar phase across both charge blocks. The braid phase is a common scalar character
is countable choice. The Axiom of Countable Choice ()
Proof
Put . Since , . Therefore and ; both targets are unitary by their orthogonal direct-sum definitions. Hence and .
The open product of operator-norm -balls around meets the normalized braid image because its closure contains by [A1] and [F1]. Thus one word satisfies both block bounds at once. This is simultaneous density; separate choices of words in the two blocks are not used.
In each block, acts as on the four-dimensional code and as a unitary on its orthogonal complement. Apply [F3] to and , then to and . The logical block error and leakage amplitude are at most in both blocks.
By [F4], the physical categorical braid is the same scalar multiple of both normalized blocks; multiplying by a unit scalar leaves leakage unchanged and is recorded as a projective phase for uncontrolled computation. It must be tracked under coherent control.
