How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Classical RK4 step for the fixed-grid regularized PIC particle ODE
Definition
Input an odd periodic grid with , a fixed , particle count , total charge , total mass , a state with , and step . The grid, mass, and shape must satisfy the domains in Periodic uniform PIC grid and inner product, Fixed-regularization periodic PIC pair kernel, and Periodic PIC deposition shape and gather operators; otherwise return status invalid-input. Use the exact-evaluation phase field of Fixed-regularization periodic PIC pair kernel: At each of four classical RK stages, evaluate this complete field at that stage's particle state: deposit every charge , subtract the neutralizing background, solve its zero-mean Poisson system with Fourier diagonal solver for the periodic centered-difference Poisson equation, compute , and gather at each stage position . Multiply the gathered field by and return , using that stage's velocity . With , , , and , return Every stage source is compatible by Periodic PIC deposition conserves charge and satisfies Poisson compatibility, and The periodic PIC Poisson algorithm returns the unique gauged solution supplies each exact finite field solve. Thus no field-solve-failure branch occurs for admissible input. All operations use exact real or complex arithmetic; no floating-point stability or error bound is asserted.

10 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
