How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
At the singular SL2 twist global sections is not conservative
Statement refuted
The global-sections functor is conservative for every antidominant twist, including singular twists, and the corresponding simple-parabolic pushforward detects every nonzero module.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: , , with , , and the standard two-chart cover.
The ordered Cech complex of a finite affine cover computes cohomology of a quasi-coherent sheaf on the separated scheme (Cech cohomology computes quasi-coherent cohomology on a separated scheme).
For , the unique simple parabolic is and is a point (Complex semisimple algebraic group, Borel, and flag variety, A minimal-parabolic flag projection is a projective-line bundle).
Proof
The twist parameter is , so : it is antidominant and singular under the definitions in Flag-variety twisted differential operators and their modules. The line bundle is nonzero and is a -module by [F1].
Let on and on , with frames related by . The Cech complex has and differential . A global section would identify a polynomial in nonnegative powers of with a sum of strictly negative powers, so . In degree one the image contains all nonnegative powers from and all negative powers from ; these span the Laurent polynomials, so .
By [F3], is the map to a point. Hence , while . The global-sections kernel and the parabolic-pushforward kernel are therefore nonzero, contradicting the refuted assertion. This is the singular Serre-kernel branch, not a counterexample to exactness: the antidominant global-sections functor remains exact by Antidominant twists are D-affine and regular ones are conservative.

45 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
