How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Formal differential star products and first-order normalization
Definition
Let be a real Poisson manifold as in General Poisson manifolds from bivector fields, with its well-defined bracket from Coordinate Jacobi and Schouten self-bracket criterion for Poisson bivectors, and set . A formal associative deformation of from Coefficientwise formal associative deformations is a differential star product quantizing if every coefficient is bidifferential and Here bidifferential means that in every coordinate chart each is a finite sum of terms , with smooth coefficients and finite differential order in each input. The normalization fixes the leading commutator to be modulo ; no factor of or is implicit. A convention using instead requires complexified coefficients and is not used here.
The product is interpreted only coefficientwise in the -adic topology. This definition asserts neither convergence for a numerical nor existence, uniqueness, classification, or an operator quantization for a given Poisson manifold.

8 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
