How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Circular Radon inversion at the zero truth
Example
Assume Countable Choice. Let be the surface measure on used in the polar-coordinate formula, let with product measure , and for real Schwartz functions define The map has a unique bounded extension . For full-space , exact datum , zero truth , and certificate , the truth is a minimum-TV exact solution satisfying the source condition. For every sequence tending to zero, , and , each is a global minimizer of the quadratic TV functional and all nonzero canonical level sets and boundaries of and are empty; their measure and extended Hausdorff distances are zero.

Verification
Put . For each fixed , polar coordinates [F5] give so for almost every the circle section is square-integrable. Cauchy–Schwarz [F4] then gives Integrating in , using polar coordinates [F5] around each center and Tonelli [F6], yields where and . Thus is real-linear and bounded on real Schwartz functions with norm at most .
The zero vector satisfies and . Since , it minimizes TV over the exact solution set, regardless of the kernel of . Its adjoint certificate satisfies because for every .
By [F7], real Schwartz functions are dense in real : approximate a real function by complex Schwartz classes and take real parts, which cannot increase the error. By [F8], the target real is complete. For any real , choose real Schwartz ; step 1.1 makes Cauchy, and its limit is independent of the approximating sequence by the same bound. This defines a bounded real-linear extension with . If another bounded extension agrees with on the dense Schwartz subspace, continuity forces equality on all of .
For , the regularized objective is , and . Hence is a global minimizer for every . If , ; if , . The same holds for , so all canonical density-one sets and ambient boundaries agree as empty sets; symmetric-difference measures and the extended Hausdorff distances are zero. The noise ratio is , so the full-space threshold is met.
