How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The cyclotomic module is the restricted dual integral highest-weight module
Statement
For the same standard homogeneous general-field/general-Cartan parameters as the integral projective theorem, the tensor pairing is weightwise perfect and -bilinear, with normalized cover/simple dual bases. Its associated map is an isomorphism to the RESTRICTED weight dual, identified inside using the highest-weight contravariant form. It intertwines the CANONICAL module action having the same normalization as projective , and sends normalized simple classes to the form-dual projective basis. The KK module action is also sound, but its intertwiner is . Thus an unrescaled KK identification is not asserted to send simples to the upper global basis. The Hom pairing is instead first-bar-sesquilinear, ; this does not alter the bilinear tensor-dual identification.
Facts & Assumptions
Given: The standard cyclotomic quotient , the two Grothendieck groups with their normalizations (Cyclotomic KLR functors define an integrable quantum action on and ), and the projective identification The cyclotomic projective is the integral highest-weight module.
The quotient-cover lemma (Cyclotomic projective covers and dualities descend through the quotient): finite blocks have finitely many absolutely simple graded shift orbits and normalized projective covers; in normalized bases and is -bilinear with .
The projective identification The cyclotomic projective is the integral highest-weight module: with highest vector under the vacuum normalization.
The highest-weight contravariant form and the restricted dual (The contravariant form on an integrable highest weight module, The upper (form-dual) global basis and the required perfectness of the integral pairing, The KLR Cartan (graded Hom) pairing on the projective Grothendieck group).
Proof
Proof technique: dualize the perfect tensor pairing to an isomorphism onto the restricted weight dual, then check that the adjunction identities of the functors translate into the restricted contravariant-dual action and compare the two normalizations.
Perfectness and the dual isomorphism. By [F1] each weight component has finitely many absolutely simple graded shift orbits and normalized projective covers, and the exactness of projective tensor pairing together with the unscaled diagonal values gives perfectness over on each weight. Hence is free on the simple classes and the functional map is an isomorphism from to the weightwise dual , i.e. the restricted weight dual and not a full unrestricted product dual.
Intertwining with the canonical action. Transport by ; its tensor form is the actual highest-weight contravariant form with (The contravariant form on an integrable highest weight module). From tensor adjunction, , and the analogous normalized identity is ; these are precisely the restricted contravariant-dual action relations, so intertwines the canonical module action with the dual action and sends normalized simple classes to the form-dual projective basis.
The KK normalization and the Hom pairing. The Kang--Kashiwara action differs from the canonical one by the weight rescaling on root , so its intertwiner is ; in particular the unrescaled KK identification is not asserted to send simples to the upper global basis. The Hom pairing satisfies by [F1] and is first-bar-sesquilinear, which concerns the other duality and does not alter the bilinear tensor-dual identification. The Axiom of Choice is inherited only through the integral projective identification [F2] and the contravariant-form suppliers [F3].
