How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Cyclotomic KLR induction and restriction functors
Definition
Use the standard graded cyclotomic quotient of The cyclotomic KLR quotient at a dominant integral weight, and keep the conventions fixed there: the cyclotomic relation is imposed on the FIRST strand and cyclotomic induction appends strands on the RIGHT. Fix and a color ; put where is the idempotent of The quiver Hecke (KLR) algebra of a symmetrizable Cartan datum supported on the sequences ending in .
The right-append corner homomorphism. Right append defines a -algebra homomorphism sending each old dot or crossing to the same-named generator multiplied by the endpoint idempotent , at the same position in the first strands of and each old idempotent to the longer idempotent obtained by appending . It is a graded homomorphism of degree zero: each generic relation (1)-(7) of The quiver Hecke (KLR) algebra of a symmetrizable Cartan datum is preserved under right append, and the first-strand cyclotomic generator of maps to the first-strand cyclotomic generator of , so the cyclotomic relation is preserved and is well defined on the quotient. The unit is sent to the corner unit , not to a global unit of ; it is not asserted that is injective, and is allowed to be zero.
The functors. On graded left modules define the tensor over the graded balanced tensor product of Graded balanced tensor product and homogeneous Hom and the idempotent restriction of the graded -module (Associative graded algebras, bimodules, and internal shifts). Both are additive -linear functors between the graded module categories, they preserve degree-zero maps, and they extend to direct sums over the root degrees .
Adjunction, weights and shifts. Evaluation at identifies with by the degree-zero tensor--Hom adjunction, giving with its actual grading. The functor increases ROOT degree by , taking modules at root to modules at root , and decreases the module weight by ; restriction does the reverse. Both composites are endofunctors at a fixed root degree. Grading shifts satisfy and , using the internal shifts of Associative graded algebras, bimodules, and internal shifts.
Ungraded monic deformations. For a general monic specialization the quotient of The cyclotomic KLR quotient at a dominant integral weight carries no grading, and the same formulas define the ungraded functors and ; no graded statement is asserted on that branch.
Status of further structure. Exactness, preservation of projectives and a shifted second adjunction are theorems below, not part of this definition; in particular no unshifted right adjunction is asserted here, and the explicit shift of the second adjunction is supplied by the coherent-biadjunction lemma of this page. This definition uses no choice.

22 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
