How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
Affine simplicial meshes and RT/BDM spaces
Definition
Assume Countable Choice. Let and let be a bounded, connected polyhedral Lipschitz domain. A matching affine simplicial mesh and its shape regularity have the exact meaning of Matching affine simplicial meshes and shape regularity; additionally, call the mesh facet-connected when its dual graph (one vertex per cell and one edge per shared -facet) is connected. Write .
For , is the real scalar polynomial space of total degree at most , and is the real homogeneous scalar polynomial space of degree exactly (for , the constants). Define For either local family , its global H(div)-conforming space is
The zero-normal RT0 flux space and mean-zero P0 pressure space are For each mesh facet , fix one unit normal ; on a cell boundary use the outward unit normal , which equals either or . The notation means cellwise constants. No existence of a mesh for every is asserted by this definition.

Dependency tree · two levels
18 results within two dependency steps of this one, each drawn at its shortest distance from it. An arrow runs from a result to what uses it, so the chart reads left to right and ends at this result, which carries a heavier outline. Every node is a link to that result.
