How statement and proof provenance work
The first chip identifies the source of the statement or construction; the second identifies the source of its local proof or verification.
- Literature-sourced: the exact statement appears in a cited source; only wording and notation differ.
- AI-adapted: a semantically identical restatement of literature-sourced material, modulo indexing, notation, and boundary cases adopted by the library.
- AI-generated: a genuinely novel statement formulated by AI, with no source for the claim itself.
These labels describe origin, not correctness: citations and verification chips remain separate evidence.
The bar lattice and the divided-power integral lattice of a based module
Definition
Fix and the crystal limiting ring of The local ring of rational functions regular at , and put , the image of under the semilinear involution , i.e. the ring of rational functions regular at ; and are the rational local rings at and at infinity, and the integral affine chart coordinate rings are and .
Let be one of or for . Equip with the bar involution of The bar involution and the contravariant anti-involution preserve : on the semilinear algebra involution with , , , ; on the induced semilinear involution determined by , well defined by the highest-module presentation: its negative-half kernel is , preserved by because every is fixed (The integrable quantum highest weight module exists and is unique). Equivalently the full highest-vector relations are bar stable: is fixed, the singular divided powers are fixed, and . Hence the quotient involution is compatible with the algebra action and fixes . Let be the divided-power integral form: for , and for (The Lusztig divided-power integral form ); both are -stable. Let be the Kashiwara crystal lattice of over : for and for (The Kashiwara lattices and and their generating sets, The grand loop: existence of the highest weight crystal bases).
Define the bar lattice , an -submodule of , and the balanced part .
The definition keeps three structures on the same -vector space strictly separate: the -module , which is not assumed free and not claimed to be contained in ; the free -module ; and the free -module . No equality , no inclusion , no freeness of and no identification are asserted; freeness is a conclusion of the balanced-triple construction on this page, whereas is a -module of global lifts and is not equal to the Laurent lattice . The bar lattice is not the form-dual (upper) lattice, which is defined later on this page. The intersections and are respectively - and -modules, generally not -modules. The balanced part is a -module; its Laurent extension is the full integral module once globalization is proved.
More generally a based integrable module here means exactly: is a homogeneous field basis; is -stable; the semilinear involution fixing is compatible with the algebra action; and with residue is a crystal local basis at . These are the four conditions of Lusztig 27.1.2(a)–(d) after the transport , together with the integrable extension used by Bao–Wang. Such data do not automatically imply an integral -action on an arbitrary based pair. A based subobject is a -submodule spanned by a subset of ; a based quotient is its quotient with the complementary basis images. Based morphisms send to the target basis or to , and have kernels spanned by the killed basis subset. These exact integral and bar-compatible maps, not arbitrary field summands, are used in tensor inheritance.
